5-Point Inspection
STEP ONE: PRONG CHECK
We closely inspect the prongs holding your gemstones. Over time, these can wear down or become loose, putting your precious stones at risk. We ensure they’re secure and in top condition.
STEP TWO: LowER SHANK WEAR
The lower shank, the part of the ring that takes the most wear, can thin out over time. We examine this area carefully to prevent breakage.
STEP THREE: GEMSTONE SEATING
Daily wear can cause your gemstones to shift, leading to potential misalignment. We make sure each stone is seated properly, so it stays perfectly in place.
STEP FOUR: MICROFRACTURES
Under magnification, we look for tiny fissures or cracks that might not be visible to the naked eye. Catching these early allows us to fix them before they become major issues, preventing potential stone loss.
STEP FIVE: FINAL POLISH
